No RecordSmash account

You do not need to create an account in the current prototype. Answers and scores are not stored in a personal RecordSmash profile. The app may ask for access to Apple Music; this is access to an Apple service, not a RecordSmash account.

Still want data deleted?

If you have contacted support or believe RecordSmash holds other personal data about you, send a request to privacy@recordsmash.app from the email address concerned.

  1. Use “RecordSmash deletion request” as the subject.
  2. Describe the data or correspondence you want deleted.
  3. We will acknowledge your request and normally respond within one month.

We will delete the data unless we are legally required to retain it or need it for an ongoing dispute or security investigation. If so, we will explain what is retained and why.

Revoke Apple Music access

You manage Apple Music access through your Apple account or device settings. Data processed by Apple is covered by the Apple Music privacy policy. RecordSmash cannot delete your Apple account.

If accounts are added later, this page will be expanded with a direct deletion route and details of applicable retention periods.
